These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the License Log Analysis website and browser-based analysis tool.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website or tool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the site.

About the Service

License Log Analysis provides browser-based analysis of supported license manager log files, including reports for usage, denials, concurrent usage, session duration, raw events, and data quality.

The service supports analysis workflows for Flexera FlexNet / FlexLM debug logs, Reprise RLM report logs, Sentinel RMS usage logs, Dassault Systemes DSLS logs, Altair ALM logs, and X-Formation LM-X debug logs.

User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the files you upload or paste.
  • You must have the right to analyze those files.
  • You should not upload unlawful, confidential, restricted, or highly sensitive data unless authorized.
  • You are responsible for verifying report accuracy before using it for business decisions.

Browser-Based Processing

The analyzer is designed to process log files locally in the browser. You should review the current functionality and not assume that future hosted features will work the same way unless clearly stated.

Accounts and Authentication

You may need to create an account or sign in to access parts of the service. You are responsible for keeping account access secure. Google sign-in and email/password authentication may be provided through Supabase and related providers.

No Professional, Legal, or Compliance Guarantee

The tool provides analysis and reporting assistance only. It does not replace professional software asset management, legal, procurement, audit, or compliance advice. Verify outputs before relying on them for purchasing, audits, renewals, compliance, or vendor negotiations.

Accuracy and Availability

The tool is provided on an "as available" basis. We aim to provide useful analysis, but we do not guarantee that parsing, reports, or calculations will be complete, error-free, or suitable for every log file or environment.

Plans, Pricing, and Features

Free and paid plans may have different limits, including file size, row limits, exports, reports, or supported features. Pricing and features may change over time. Payment terms should be handled by the checkout or payment provider when implemented.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

License Manager Log Analysis provides access to a digital software service that allows users to upload, analyze, process, and export license log data. Because access to the service and its analysis functionality is provided immediately after subscription activation, subscription fees are generally non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that you receive immediate access to digital functionality and analysis capabilities. Except where required by applicable law or where we determine that the service materially failed to provide the functionality promised, fees paid for a subscription period are not refundable.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not cancel, refund, or shorten the current paid billing period. After cancellation, your access will remain available until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, unless your account is terminated earlier due to a violation of these Terms.

We do not provide partial refunds, prorated refunds, credits, or refunds for unused time in a billing period. We also do not provide refunds simply because you have used the service to analyze logs, generate reports, export data, obtain results, no longer need the service, changed your mind, selected the wrong plan, or forgot to cancel before renewal.

If you believe the service did not materially perform the functionality promised, you may contact us with a refund request. To help us review the request, you must provide reasonable details and evidence of the issue, such as the affected log type, the action attempted, the expected result, the actual result, screenshots, error messages, or other information that allows us to verify the problem. We may attempt to troubleshoot, correct the issue, or provide guidance before determining whether a refund is appropriate.

Refunds, where granted, are at our reasonable discretion unless required by applicable law. A refund request may be denied where the service was available and used successfully, where reports or exports were generated, where the issue is caused by unsupported log formats, incomplete or corrupted log files, user error, third-party systems, or where the customer cannot provide enough information for us to verify that the service materially failed to perform as promised.

Nothing in this Refund and Cancellation Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If applicable law requires a refund, cancellation right, repair, replacement, price reduction, or other remedy that cannot be excluded by these Terms, we will comply with those legal requirements.

Intellectual Property

The website, interface, text, design, scripts, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the operator. Users retain ownership of their own log files and uploaded or pasted data.

Prohibited Use

  • Illegal activity or misuse of the service.
  • Attempting to disrupt, attack, or reverse engineer the site.
  • Uploading malicious files.
  • Using the service to process data without authorization.
  • Misrepresenting affiliation with NYBS Consulting or License Log Analysis.

Third-Party Services

The site may rely on Vercel, Supabase, Google Auth, Resend, and other service providers to operate hosting, authentication, email delivery, and related functions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the site or tool.

Termination

We may restrict or terminate access if users violate these terms or misuse the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated terms.
